Congratulations to Grace in Year 11 who, as part of an , has been successful in getting her short story published recently. Earlier this year Grace submitted her short story, The Dust, for a 12-18 year-olds competition on the . She chose the horror genre as she is confident in this area and enjoys writing spine-tingling fiction; The Dust took several hours to write.
After six months and almost forgetting that she had submitted her piece, Young Writers replied to say that she had been successful and a printed copy arrived in the post only last week. The Dust is part of the Ghost Stories series, this one subtitled ±«Óãtv.
Grace said, “I’m so proud to see this in print and I’m already working on my next story. I’d really like to explore becoming a full-time writer at a later date.”
