“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself”- John Dewey

“Every child is capable of learning anything, depending on the way it is presented to them and how much effort they put into learning it” - Confucius

At tv, we believe that EVERY child deserves the opportunity to experience a rich and broad curriculum supported by outstanding teaching and learning.

We are dedicated to improve the life chances of all of our young learners with an inclusive curriculum that inspires and informs.

Our curriculum ensures that students learn in a logical way that builds on what is taught from the day they begin in year 7. Each subject has coordinated their scheme of work to allow pupils to make links between topics and apply their knowledge to a wide range of different situations.

We ensure that our students have a rigorous education in the core subjects of English and Maths but are exposed to a diverse curriculum that allows them to leave school with essential cultural capital.
